Small Groups

Small gatherings of believers characterized the early church. In Acts 1:13-14 we learn the Disciples and Jesus’ mother and brothers gathered “constantly together in prayer.” In Acts 2:46 the fellowship of believers “continued to meet every day together in the temple courts. They broke bread in their homes and ate together…” What happened in the early Church? The Holy Spirit entered the believers’ lives, and in Acts 2:47 we learn, “And the Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved.”

Run in such a way as to get the prize. Everyone who competes in the games goes into strict training. They do it to get a crown that will not last; but we do it to get a crown that will last forever.” Make small groups a part of your spiritual growth.
